But then how about this Hadith? How we reconcile this with this Hadith from Sahih Muslim?
“a person performs deeds like the deeds of the people of Paradise apparently before people and he would be amongst the dwellers of Hell
and a person acts apparently like the people of Hell, but (in fact) he would be among the dwellers of Paradise.”
Simple. Still, we judge a person for what is apparent, as per our knowledge about that person. It is not our job to judge his inner-self or his status with Allah on the day of Judgement. And Allah knows best.
For example, Can we say about a Muslim, “This person is in Fire?
No! But what we can say is that a particular act is the act of the people of the fire or that act was meant for fire as per the statement/warning/descriptions in Quran and Sahih Hadith.
But as for Mushrik and Kafir, a Muslim can clearly say that they are in Jahannam as because Allah Subhanahu testifies that Mu’min has the clear knowledge about them that Mushrikun are in fire (Quran 9:113)

a person performs deeds like the deeds of the people of Paradise apparently before people and he would be amongst the dwellers of Hell
and a person acts apparently like the people of Hell, but (in fact) he would be among the dwellers of Paradise.
